Visa information
Visas are required by all nationals except those from ECOWAS countries
In order to apply at your nearest Guinean Embassy or Consulate you will need to produce the following documents:
1) A passport with a minimum validity of Six months.
2) Fill in the visa form ( two copies) and pay the visa fee (this varies from Embassy to Embassy, for example at the present time of writing the Guinean Embassy in France, charges 60 euros for a one month visa)
3) A letter of invitation (we will provide this for you) or a hotel reservation.
4) Two passport photos
5) It is compulsory for all participants visiting Conakry, to have a valid international yellow fever certificate. Please do not forget to bring this with you, when you travel. Other specific vaccinations (such as typhoid, hepatitis, meningitis, etc...) and anti-malaria prophylaxis are strongly recommended.

If you do not have a Guinean representation in your country, then you may apply for a visa on arrival, if this is the case, please contact us immediately and no later than one month before the event ( September 12 2008).
We will not be able to process any visas on arrival for participants who have Guinean representations in their country of residence.
